Leaving a beloved pet behind is heartbreaking. Fortunately, bringing them to the Philippines is a well-defined process.

The Paperwork

You need an Import Permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI). This is applied for online. You also need a health certificate from your country of origin and proof of vaccination (Rabies is mandatory).

Quarantine

Unlike some countries with strict 6-month quarantine periods, the Philippines generally allows home quarantine if your papers are in order. This means you can take your pet home immediately upon arrival.

Pet-Friendly Culture

The Philippines is becoming increasingly pet-friendly. Malls like Ayala Malls allow pets, and many resorts (including us!) welcome four-legged guests.

Pet-Friendly Stays

We love animals at Alona's. Tell us about your furry friend when you book.
