1. Scope
This notice applies to software, scripts, SDKs, and utilities provided by SIG Labs through our websites and services. It covers both commercial offerings and any open‑source components we distribute.
2. Commercial software
Unless accompanied by a separate written agreement, commercial software from SIG Labs is licensed—not sold—on a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable basis for personal or internal business use. You may not resell, sublicense, host as a service, or circumvent technical controls. Reverse‑engineering is prohibited except where required by applicable law.
License scope, seat counts, and environment limits are defined at purchase. Evaluation copies are time‑limited and provided only for testing. We may deliver license keys or online activation; you agree not to share or bypass such measures.
3. Open‑source software (OSS)
Where marked, we publish or include OSS under the applicable open‑source license (for example, MIT, Apache‑2.0, BSD‑3‑Clause, or other license referenced in the source distribution). Your rights and obligations for that code are governed solely by the respective license texts. If an OSS license conflicts with this notice, the OSS license controls for that component.
4. Third‑party notices and attributions
Some packages incorporate third‑party code or content. Attribution files (such as LICENSE, NOTICE, or THIRD_PARTY) included with the download form part of this notice. You must retain all copyright, license, and attribution notices in any permitted redistribution.
5. Updates, security, and support
- Updates. We may provide updates or patches. Installing updates may be required to keep features or security protections working as designed.
- Support. Support offerings, if any, are described in your order or support plan. OSS is generally provided without support.
- End‑of‑life. We may deprecate versions after reasonable notice. Continued use is at your own risk.
6. Export controls and compliance
You are responsible for compliance with local laws, including export, import, and sanctions regulations. You warrant that you are not a prohibited party and will not use our software in jurisdictions or for purposes where such use is restricted by law.
7. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, all software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SIG Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to software will not exceed the amounts you paid for the software in the 12 months preceding the claim.
