This Media & Brand Asset License (the “License”) governs the use of photos, videos, audio, graphics, downloadable files, and brand assets we publish on our websites, social channels, and documentation (collectively, “Media”). It is written for professional users, including resorts, restaurants, event planners, and traders.
1) Scope and definitions
- Media: Images, videos, audio, graphics, and downloadable assets made available by SIG Labs.
- Brand assets: SIG Labs names, logos, marks, product names, and visual identity elements.
- Editorial use: Use in news reporting, commentary, reviews, or academic reference with neutral context.
- Commercial use: Use in advertising, marketing, sales materials, signage, packaging, or paid content.
2) Permitted uses
- Use of Media for editorial purposes with accurate, non‑misleading context.
- Use of Media in internal business materials (presentations, proposals, training).
- Embedding or linking to our Media via official pages or CDN URLs with attribution where reasonably practical.
- Limited promotional use of our location or venue imagery in co‑marketing if not implying partnership or endorsement.
3) Prohibited uses
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Media as standalone files or in stock/media libraries.
- Using Media or brand assets to imply endorsement, partnership, certification, or sponsorship without our written approval.
- Placing logos or word marks on merchandise, signage, packaging, or app icons without a brand agreement.
- Using Media in unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, pornographic, or hateful contexts, or to promote high‑risk or unsafe activities.
- Automated scraping or bulk downloading of Media without prior written consent.
4) Editorial vs. commercial use
- Editorial: Generally allowed with attribution where practical. Do not alter meaning or present Media in a misleading way.
- Commercial: Requires that you secure all necessary model/property releases and approvals. If unsure, contact us.
5) Attribution
Attribution is appreciated and may be required for certain Media. Suggested format: “Courtesy of SIG Labs (URL)”. If third‑party credits are indicated, include them as provided.
6) Releases and third‑party rights
- Some Media may depict identifiable people, private property, artworks, logos, or other rights. You are responsible for obtaining additional permissions when required.
- If Media includes third‑party stock content, you must comply with the applicable provider’s license in addition to this License.
- Do not extract or reuse third‑party elements (e.g., music stems, brand logos) beyond the scope permitted here.
7) Brand assets
- Our names, logos, and marks are trademarks of SIG Labs. Use is limited to nominative fair use or as expressly authorized in writing.
- Do not modify, distort, or combine our logos with other marks. Maintain clear space and legibility.
- App icons, product packaging, exterior signage, and uniforms always require prior approval.
8) No resale or creation of libraries
You may not compile our Media into a repository, template pack, dataset, AI training set, or resale bundle—even if modified—without a separate license from SIG Labs.
9) Takedown and quality
If we notify you that a specific item must be removed (for rights, quality, or compliance reasons), you agree to cease use promptly and remove it from your channels and materials.
10) Warranty and liability
Media is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, SIG Labs disclaims all warranties and limits liability as set out in our Terms and Content & Software License.
11) Changes
We may update this License to reflect legal or operational changes. The latest version will be posted here.
